This idea for this blog started off as a way for a middle aged dad to encapsulate the highlights of the outdoor adventures we’ve been on as a family.

I also had a personal interest in writing down thoughts and ideas about my own exercise regime, most notably linked to running.

Further to this, I find that my physical health is inextricably linked to my mental well-being. With this in mind, this blog will also be a place for me to write about mental health too, whether it be inspired by outdoor pursuits, exercise, books I’ve read or any other form of inspiration.
